pc shuts off after 3 or 4 minutes

ok so i built my own pc about 1 1/2 ago. had no problems. about 2 weeks ago it started shutting off after a few min of a cold startup. i have reseated all ram/graphics cards, bought a new psu installed it and same problem. checked power switch and no issues with the switch. i had not gotten a single message about anything from the pc (no bsod or errors) then 2 days ago i got a message on one of my attempts to start pc saying overclocking failed(this was prior to new psu install) my friend who know much about pc's came over installed new psu today and cleaned it all out and reseat everything reapplied thermal past for liquid cooler re connected all connectors. this problem still persists. any help plz

Check the voltages and the temps. Use programs like HWInfo, RealTemp, and the BIOS. The voltages (under load) and/or the temps are off spec.

have done so no temp is near critical to warrant a shut down. the cpu is at 30 celcius at time of power off. all fans work.

Good to know that the temps are ok - the next thing to check are the voltages - especially the 12V.

volts are good as well my buddy was just checking them and has con to the conclusion it is the mother board. so im gnna buy it cuz the one i have is almost 2 years old and does not support corssfire which is what im going to do shortly
