Hello All

I have a Dell Inspiron 3650. :(
I just changed out the PSU and installed a new GPU
PSU - EVGA 500 watt 100-W1-0500-K3 - External
GPU - Zotac Gaming GeForce GTX 1650

The system seems to run fine most of the time but it has shut down on me twice now for no apparent reason. It doesn't just die, it goes through the shutdown sequence. Both time I was watching a recorded stream on Twitch if that means anything. Could just be a coincidence.
Could this be a cooling problem? I saw a post elsewhere about adding a case fan and a CPU fan to this model machine.
Any ideas?

Out of curiosity, how did you connect the PSU to your motherboard? From my search(Google) your motherboard shows up to have proprietary power inputs from the PSU. I could be proven wrong if you can include a picture of the innards or an SKU to your prebuilt system.

I purchased an adapter cable to connect the PSU to the motherboard. This is the one I am using. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XRKT7SH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After purchasing that I found this one which specifically says it is compatible.

I decided to check the first one before buying the second one. The wire configuration seemed the same, on sight anyway although there was one pin with a wire connected that was unused on the stock connector.

According to NZXT Cam, (which I installed to see what the temperature situation was) I have a Dell 0C2XKD motherboard if that helps.
