So basically I bought a new keyboard (Bloody B120)

I plugged it in the PC and it worked fine for 5 min then the PC shutdown automatically for no reason.

Tried it on my laptop and it worked fine for like an hour.

Plugged it into another USB port and the same problem happened again.

So what exactly is causing this problem ? My motherboard or PSU ?

Specs :
Gigabyte G1 Z97 (2 years old)
I7-4790
MSI Rx 480 4gb
Seasonic ii 520w bronze (4 years old)

If the keyboard works fine on your laptop, I would suspect it was hardware related.. Software ehhhh.. worth a try updating drivers (Motherboard, GPU, perhaps not the BIOS seeing as you're having problems with your PC shutting down suddenly) but I doubt it is software related. You could go into the BIOS and restore to default settings. Checks one box off the possible solutions, right?

Without actually testing each component it's hard narrow down the culprit.

+Try starting out with Ram. Take one stick out. Perform a test. Do the same for all the Ram stick you have.
+If you have an old power supply lying around, take your Seasonic PSU out and try with an alternative.
So on and so on.

This one is quite hard to narrow down seeing it's...
What is your CPU cooling solution ?
Download MSI afterburner and monitor CPU & GPU temperatures. There is the possibility something is overheating.
When pc turns off, can you turn it on instantly ?
If you can go straight to bios and check CPU temp.

I do not known that keyboard but some have keys to shutdown the pc (or maybe that dont have but its missconfigured), change to “Ask me what to do” in Control Panel > Power Options > Advanced > When I Press the Power Button on My Computer

If you get a message then you are pressing a key that try to shutdown the pc.

This one is quite hard to narrow down seeing it's not your temps either. However, it's not your keyboard for sure!

Research to see if anyone else is having a similar issue with PC shutting down after 5 mins.

Hope this helps !
