Question PC shutting down randomly,shows a random colour on screen before shutdown

So I dont know what's the issue actually. It might be an MB issue or GPU issue. My pc randomly becomes unresponsive, sometimes during gaming, sometimes even during light usage and sometimes even when idle. It would show a random colour on screen and then it would become unresponsive. Monitor loses input, Keyboard and mouse would lose power but casing doesnt. I would have to hard restart it to get it to respond again. I have tried everything, I clean installed windows, updated drivers, bios. I have no idea what's causing the issue. Specs down in the comment. Built this PC a couple of months back and can't go the store I bought it from because of lockdown, hoping its something that can be solved at home.
MB - msi mortar max b450m
cpu- ryzen 5 3500
gpu – msi armor 8g oc (radeon rx 570)
psu - thermaltake smart se2 600w
ram – thermaltake h-one ddr5 8gb 3000 mhz
ssd – Lexar 128gb m.2
hdd – Seagate barracuda 1tb 3.5 inch sata 7200rpm
monitor - asus vz229
k+m - rapoo v110 combo

Sounds like a power supply issue to me.

That particular Thermaltake PSU is not a very high quality unit. Its a low-end power supply unit, and I wouldn't advise using this on any Gaming PC.

Please try to get a high-quality PSU if possible. Honestly speaking, I don't trust that SMART SE2 Model from Thermaltake.

anyway to confirm its psu issue? cause cant take it back to the store i bought it from because of lockdown

nope. since the issue only happened sometime.
need to test out which component is failing

What's your BUDGET for the power supply ? These are some high quality units. Look for similar SKUs if you can get these near your location. There are few more options as well though.

CORSAIR AXi, RMi, RMx 550/650W, SF, HX 2017, HXi series..

FSP - Hydro PTM 550/650W series.

Thank you so much, I'll be sure to update the thread when the problem is fixed(which maybe a while with the lockdown but i will surely update)
umm so this one cost around 5000 taka in my country, which comes to around US$60 in conversion so i guess my budget is around $40 or $50 considering taxes and stuff, and i have to see if i can return the old one so yeah lets see and hope for the best

So it was a gpu issue after all, i am now using an msi nvidia 1650 super and i have no issues. Thanks for all the info and advices
