Hey, I've been vexed by this issue for months, when I open and execute certain apps my PC becomes extremely slow, moving between tabs takes a bit and even though games run properly the opening of any new tab or program takes ages, google chrome may take 5 minutes to open once called, same for task manager and so on.
The main culprit is the Unity engine app, starting it always causes this and I've reinstalled it many times to no avail.
certain games trigger this at random intervals.
Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 3600X
GPU: RTX 2070 MSI GAMING Z
MOBO: Aourus b450m
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 2X8 3200Mhz (Running a bit lower than that due to stability issues yet still having XMP active)
PSU: some 650W old EVGA.
Windows is in a WD SN550 M2 drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you require any further info, please ask.
