Pc Sound System

Hi there, I am im halfway building my pc and I have this panasonic stereo system lying around with 2 really good bookshelf spaekers. I want 2 know how to connect it to my pc. i cant directly connect the speakrs 2 the pc as it is the wires which is copper and you thread it in. Ive heard a 3.5mm jack to rca will make it work but im not quite sure. Thanks

U cannot connect the speakers directly to PC PERIOD because the speakers need to be amplified first.

Very simple: PC (line out)-----> (line in/aux/CD)Panasonic -----> Speakers.
