Question PC started turning itself off and on again while under load, I need help to diagnose the problem

Hello,

First of all, I'd like to share my specs (everything is stock, with RAM XMP enabled):

CPU i5 11400 (~3 years of use)

GPU RX 6750 XT (~1 year of use)

CPU cooler Scythe Fuma 2 (~3 years of use, I haven't changed the thermal paste since I built the PC)

Motherboard Gigabyte B560m Gaming HD (~3 years of use)

2x8 Gb RAM 3200 MHz (~3 years of use)

PSU Corsair RM650x (~3 years of use)

Windows 11

So, last week I started playing a game called "Satisfactory". I ran into a lot of crashes (once every 5-10 minutes), which I attributed to the fact that the game was a new release. However, one of those times the computer completely shut off and turned on again, which I thought was because the game crashed Windows or something. However, a couple of days ago I tried to run the game again, and the computer turned itself off and on once again. My sister, who sometimes plays League of Legends on my PC, said the same thing happened while she was playing.

My first thought was overheating because my case is awful (I don't even know the model or brand) and has only 2 fans (one lateral intake, one back exhaust), so I ordered a new case online (which hasn't arrived yet). However, a Reddit user (as well as my mom lol) suggested me to open the side panel, point a fan towards my PC and test to see if it shuts down again.

So I tried this idea, I opened OCCT and ran two stress tests: one CPU + GPU, and the other a power test. In both tests, my PC shut down. The temperatures all seemed fine (all CPU cores were at maximum 70-75°C, GPU was also around 75°C, with the only "concerning" temperature being a 102°C hotspot, which is still bellow the maximum acceptable according to AMD).

I decided to look for the .DMP files generated by Windows during these shut downs, and ran WinDbg to find answers. Here are the results:

On the power supply to the GPU are you using both 8 pin cables or an 'extension' type with one cable, two connectors?

Those temps are concerning to me.

I am no help with the logs.
Hello, I'm using both cables, I read that using the "extension" with two connectors might be insufficient for the GPU.

Are the temps that bad? I live in a hot country (Brazil), so I expected the temps might be a bit higher than the usual NA/EU user, but I read that the max acceptable temperature for my CPU is 100°C, which is much higher than I achieved. Also, the GPU reaches 75°C, which is bellow the max temperature, and the hotspot of 102°C is high, but still bellow AMD's max of 110°C.

Glad to hear on the power connector.

When your PC is on idle, are you over 20* above ambient for the room? Yes, here in the SE US we do not deal with the same temps.

What power plan are you using?

Keeping the PC clean of dust?

I think my components stay within the 20°C threshold, they might stay above it for a few minutes after a stress test but I don't think this counts as "idle"

I think I'm using the higher performance option in the Control Panel, but I'm not home to verify this.

Also, I haven't cleaned my PC in quite some time, it's probably full of dust.
