Pc starting trouble. But after disconnecting and connecting psu from motherboard it starts. Once it starts it can run for hours without any problem. The problem is only to start the pc. When i press the button nothin happens. I could see light in motherboard and gpu. I hav been using my pc by using this method for over a month. But idk whether the prob is in psu or mobo.need help pls?

Yea im gonna change the cmos battery and try again. Anyways i did the psu test with multimeter and hairpin it passed both. I also tried changing the power button that also didnt work ill update after changing battery. Thanx

Well it is not one of their best but my symptoms were press start button multiple times until it started and was a sure sign of failing capacitors.

I'm not sure what the issue is but can you try using a different PSU ? When I had a starting trouble and called a technician the first thing he did was try using a different psu and the second was taking the RAM chip out and rubbing the golden part of it using an eraser to clean it (ONLY AN ERASER DON'T USE CLOTH OR YOU'LL BE SKREWED)

Hey guys thanks for the suggestion i bought a new cmos battery today. I will also try the ram rubbing method. I will mostly get my friend's psu tommrow. I will update tomorrow. Any other suggestions?

Not sure about anything else ...BTW be careful when handling the RAM and any other components ,touch the unpainted part of your cabinet before touching any parts to discharge yourself and to prevent damaging the parts ;D

I forgot to update the thread. I tried my friend's psu it didnt work. I dont think the psu is thr prob. Currently im using my lap. So i still dont know which is the prob. Any more suggestions?
