So I built my brothers PC a while back and wanted to upgrade
He bought an artic cooler AIO 280 2 fan and a ryzen 9 5900x
His old CPU was a ryzen 5 3600x paired w/ a 2070super
AIO was too big for the case so we bought a mid tower and fit everything in it, all connectors put in place
PC would start w/ lights on but VGA light was stuck on and wouldnt go into bios or windows
Current build:
Ryzen 9 5900x
Gigabyte 2070super Windforce
32gb 4 sticks Vengeance RAM
650 Watt Gold Powersupply Corsair
Things i've tried:
Checking all PSU connectors and their ends (GPU, CPU, Motherboard, etc all ends checked and put into place)
Reseating GPU
Reseating all RAM sticks in different slots (even tried 1 at a time in each slot)
Reseating CPU and AIO cooler
Things I plan on trying tomorrow:
Replacing CPU to old one
Trying other GPU
I'd like some advice on this if possible
