Pc temp high???

Hi I have been running some temp tests on my new custom loop in my pc and have been getting 37 degrees on idle and 89 degrees on full load. CPU is i7 7700k professionally de lidded and tested at 78 degrees on full load at 4.9ghz after 48 hours by the company I bought it from. They had it on a cheapish all in one cooler. I have it on a custom loop with 240mm radiator and a Asus z270 water block so I would think I would get better temps than them but I seem to get worse. The thermal paste I am using is thermal grizzly conductanaut and I have applied it two times already to see if that was the problem. I don't think I am very good at applying it though so will probably try again.
Also I know this isn't a scientific method of checking but the water pipes in the pc do feel hot so I think the heat is getting to the loop from the cpu.
Can anyone suggest any other things that could be wrong.

Oh okay I was complaining about working outside at around 37c today I'd die if it was that hot inside my house. Rerun the tests with prime 26.6 and enjoy your setup

It is prime95 above version 26.6. Why would you say to ignore it?

Alan11985,

What is your ambient temperature?

Do not use Prime95 versions later than 26.6 on 2nd through 7th Generation i3, i5 or i7 CPU's, which all have AVX (Advanced Vector Extension) Instruction Sets. Prime95 versions later than 26.6 run AVX code on the CPU's Floating Point Unit (FPU) which causes unrealistic temperatures up to 20°C higher. The FPU test in the utility AIDA64 shows similar results.

Please download and run P95 v26.6. Run only Small FFT's for just 10 minutes.

AVX can be disabled in Prime95 versions later than 26.6 by inserting "CpuSupportsAVX=0" into the "local.txt" file in Prime95's folder. However, since Core temperatures will be the same as 26.6, it's easier to just use 26.6. Recent motherboards address the AVX problem by providing offset adjustments in BIOS. AVX doesn't affect Core i 1st Generation, Core 2, Pentium or Celeron processors since they don't have AVX Instruction Sets.
