Hello,
I have recently upgraded my PC case to improve airflow.
I went from a generic store bought ASUS CM 6730 desktop original mid tower to a Fractal ARC Mini R2.
I was able to move all the components and added a couple SSD's successfully.
My mobo is an ASUS P8H61-M Pro (original one that came with the generic desktop).
I have recently downloaded a temp monitoring software: Open Hardware Monitor (http://openhardwaremonitor.org/) and been keeping an eye at the temps in different components, it even gives me the temps of my HDD and SSD's.
These are the readings I am getting and was wondering whether they are OK:
+- ASUS CM6330_CM6630_CM6730_CM6830_M11AA (/mainboard)
| +- Nuvoton NCT6776F (/lpc/nct6776f)
| | +- CPU Core : 29.5 53.5 (/lpc/nct6776f/temperature/0)
| | +- Temperature #1 : 86 87.5 (/lpc/nct6776f/temperature/1)
| | +- Temperature #2 : 94.5 98.5 (/lpc/nct6776f/temperature/2)
| | +- Temperature #3 : 31 33 (/lpc/nct6776f/temperature/3)
+- Intel Core i7-3770 (/intelcpu/0)
| +- CPU Core #1 : 27 54 (/intelcpu/0/temperature/0)
| +- CPU Core #2 : 27 49 (/intelcpu/0/temperature/1)
| +- CPU Core #3 : 27 48 (/intelcpu/0/temperature/2)
| +- CPU Core #4 : 27 52 (/intelcpu/0/temperature/3)
| +- CPU Package : 27 54 (/intelcpu/0/temperature/4)
+- NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (/nvidiagpu/0)
| +- GPU Core : 28 52 (/nvidiagpu/0/temperature/0)
| | +- Fan #1 : 974 1223 (/lpc/nct6776f/fan/0) (rear Fan)
| | +- Fan #2 : 1530 1783 (/lpc/nct6776f/fan/1) (CPU heat sink-Fan)
The Fractal Case came with 3 fans: rear, top and front.
I connected the rear fan to the mobo, the top and front fan to the PSU through the case fan control switch (3 positions: 5v, 7v and 12v). They run at constant speed depending on the switch voltage.
Are these temps OK?
