Hello

So today my PC keeps having fans go full speed on idle with cpu temps going to 84°c , Then goes down to the normal 40 to 50 range , and after few mins does same , I have no idea why , there is no tasks in background .

Here are my pc specs

Have you tried checking that CPU is seated well and that it's being cooled? Cuz it says that : The Deepcool AK620 68.99 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard. Might want to see if it's touching it or properly seated on it . . .

I mean like . . . I kinda had the same problem with my 9700K a few years ago. At one point; I was liquid cooling that fracker at 27' C idle and only 43' C on all core loads. Til one day, it started kicking fans and overloading at 94' C idle then I decided it had it's time cuz it was also delidded and reseated & probably met it's endpoint of it. Sold it for half it's OG price and got a 9900KS which ran like a dweam until I got the 12900KS . . . I should've said this from the beginning that I don't trust AMD much when it comes to it's periphs as I've had a lot of bad experiences with their hardware too . . . I'm not saying get rid of that CPU and Mobo and get a 14900K and a Maximus Z790 Hero Apex Max or anything . . . just think that AMD CPUs aren't as they used to back then lol . . . sorry I'm rambling . . . double check if it really *is* seated on with the cooler and if it is see if you could apply a little more thermal paste or do a breadboarding . . . I hate CPU Overload problems . . .

There are always tasks in the background. Observe the performance tab in task manager to see if the temp spikes correlate with any (per core) utilization spikes. If there are, try and track down the offending process. If there are none, proceed to hardware diagnosis.

Done it , it only happened one night , now it seem to be working alright again so will observe if there is something that changes

Good. It's possible there was something updating in the background, disk indexing etc etc. Your fan curve can have a lot to do with it as well. I have a rather aggressive ramp set on mine, so things spool up rather abruptly even at "light" loads.

I had HWinfo running in backgroup , i just open it and it shows my cpu at one point spiked to 126°c , That can't be normal ? normally its at 45 to 83 max...
