PC to HDMI display issues

I had the LCD screen on my laptop break a while back and have been using an HDMI cord to connect it to my Samsung TV. I never really had a problem with it until recently when there have been what looks like a bunch of pixel errors. I did just a little research, and I would have thought it would have been an issue with my TV's refresh rate except nothing on my TV has changed. The flickering gets really bad when I'm watching videos and such and sometimes the lines that jut across the screen, one half of the screen above or sometimes below the line begins to flicker left and right. Here are some pictures I got to show you some of the things I'm talking about:

These red lines and such aren't the only issues I get but hopefully these should be enough to help find the culprit. If you guys need any more specific information I can get that for you. Thanks

Can you try a different HDMI cable as well as a different HDMI port on TV? Also, many TV's have a "PC mode" you can select. If yours does, try that.

Does your laptop have a discrete graphics card or is it using onboard CPU video?

I'll try that but I wont have access to another HDMI cord until tomorrow. I tried all of my TV's HDMI ports with to no avail. As far as my graphics card goes I just have a cheap Intel Integrated Chipset that sucks. My TV does have a PC mode but it just tells me to check signal cable, so I've never bothered with it since just using my regular HDMI ports has worked out in the past. Like I said I'll check tomorrow with another cord but if it is the cord you should see some display issues on anything using the cord right, but I also use the same cord for my DirecTV satellite box, and while I'm watching TV I haven't noticed any errors, so I'm fearing my crappy old laptop is finally starting to bite the dust.
