My desktop turns on, the lights on my mobo are on, the fans are spinning. However, no image on my screen and the power LED stays off.
Things I have tried:
Reset CMOS/Replace CMOS battery
Reseat/Replace RAM
Replace PSU
Run PC with onboard graphics
Replace HDD/SSD/Run without storage
Checking monitor and trying different display inputs

In the past I my PC had a similar issue where it didn't show an image, but then the power LED was on and Resetting the CMOS worked. That is not the case now.

Any help would be appreciated.

System specs:
Case: H440i
GPU: Asus STRIX GTX 970
CPU: I5 4690k
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2tb
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 500gb
PSU: Corsair CX500M
RAM: 4x Corsair Vengeance Pro 4gb @ 1600 MHz
Mobo: MSI Z97 Gaming 3

By 'desktop turns on', do you mean that it gets to the POST stage? Do you hear a beep?

No beeps. I'm not sure if it goes past the POST stage. It does not turn off automatically, all the lights are in and the fans spin.
Nope, if there's no beep then it's not getting to the POST stage. It could be a BIOS issue. Have you always had this problem with this system or is it a recent development?

Right, so the display doesn't turn on and the power led doesn't go on and resetting the cmos doesn't fix the issues, but the mobo lights and the fans work. Did you make any kind of hardware change or any other change before this started happening?
