PC turns off after UPS switches from Battery backup to AC mains.

UPS: MicroTek MDP800+ (Dual battery 800VA)
Mains voltage (Rated): 230V
Mains voltage (Practical): 200V - 150V

What can be the problem? Need help immediately. Can not use my PC for long.

Solution
If it were me, I would pull the cover from the breaker box or service disconnect switch and measure voltage coming in directly from the utility meter to rule out loose connections downstream from there.

If you are in a 230V country and only get 150-200V, then it seems the logical thing to do would be filing a complaint with the power company for grossly unstable line voltage and hope it will do something about it.

Your other option would be to buy a line voltage regulator with adequate input range capability or possibly a double-conversion ("online") UPS that can accept low input voltage.

TechPowerUp.com didn't review either of those models.

X-bit labs reviewed the Seasonic M12-II 620 and found that the PSU wouldn't operate on the UPS' battery backup mode on their APC UPS that outputs a stepped approximation to a sine wave when operating on battery backup power. That means a pure sine wave UPS may be required.

So what to do? Which one to buy? How about S12G 650 ?

For the S12G Series 450 Watt (SSR-450RT) model TechPowerUp.com measured a hold-up time of 17.4 ms. They didn't review the 650W model although the chances are good that the same holds true.

computerbase.de measured a 20.2 ms hold-up time for the S12G 550W (SSR-550RT) model.
