Hello all,

My computer is been working very good for the last 2 years but suddenly it started to start up and power off repeatedly. I checked all the components: GPU, PSU, RAM, and I realized that it works without hassle when only 1 RAM is present.

Things I tried:

* Run with 1 RAM card in each slot. Works fine.
* Try both RAM cards as stand-alone. Works fine.
* Reset CMOS. No changes.
* Format computer and drivers. No changes.

At this point, I don't know how to manage to work with both cards at the same time. Any idea? Suggestion?

Computer specs:

GPU: GTX 970
CPU: i5-4690K
Motherboard: ASUSTeK H81I-PLUS
RAM: 2x Corsair Vengance 16GB
PSU: Enermax ERX430AWT
Main cooler: Corsair Hydro H75

Anything that can give me a clue on what's going on is gonna be very much appreciated,
Thank you all!

R

It's something wrong with the motherboard since it's not POST-ing having RAM modules in dual channel.
You should check for any bent pins on the CPU socket. Could be also something wrong with the RAM slots.
In any case your motherboard is at fault most likely.
