Hello,
I was playing Cold War zombies when my pc just froze and my screen went blank but my pc was still on and I tried rebooting and it’s giving me a A2 - IDE Detect but I have no clue what that means I tried clearing cmos and restarting, taking my ram out and putting it in different spots with one stick, plugging my DisplayPort cable in different spots on my GPU. My pc turns on but no display. My setup has been working for over a year no with no problem. So I’m kinda stumped

Msi gaming edge motherboard
Intel i7-9700k
Vengeance LPX 3200
Msi 2060 super

Whats the psu?

I

i just tried using my old gpu and still the same thing
so it could be a couple of things.
It could be a faulty cable,it could be the power supply, maybe the GPU drivers havent been updated.I dont think its the psu since you said you put your old gpu in which i assume requires less power than the 2060 super. It could honestly be anything. What spare parts do you have? (like a cpu,motherboard,psu,etc..)

I basically have a whole other setup but I’m not going to go through all that my wife is sleeping rn and I’m not trying to make too much noise I’m just so confused cause I play on it almost everyday never had a problem and in the middle of the game boom just messed up it’s on right now and it seems to be fine showing numbers between 32-37 which I think it’s just showing cpu temps but just no display at all

Ok so idk what I did but I got it to display I kept booting up and shutting off then I unplugged my monitor from the wall and bottled up then plugged my monitor in and boom it worked after like 4 hours of messing with stuff it just randomly works.....

how did it work all of a sudden xD
Anyway,enjoy ur pc!
Also, monitor ur temps, because that can lead to this problem too.
Idk just wanted to work I unplugged both my ssd and hard drive and flipped them around and also moved the satta cables around in the ports and it worked even though I did that before and I always do keep an eye on my gpu and cpu temps with msi afterburner
