So I tried to turn on my pc all fans worked and led's and everything, even the num lock on my keyboard showed up and worked when I tapped it. My mouse's led also turned on, but the monitor doesn't connect to the PC, doesn't want to turn on. I have checked the monitor with other pcs and it works fine.

I took out the GFX Card, and tried to run my pc with the integrated graphics, and the pc does work, and the monitor works. So why is it doing this when I plug my GFX card in?

Yes you need a straight dvi to VGA adapter (not a converter)

See one on that pic ? , they come with the cards as new.

Its a $2 item pretty much

Do you know how I would do that?
I can't find VGA in the BIOS.

My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V

I did find Internal Graphics option in the Peripherals section, but I am scared if I disable it, something will happen.

I changed it to pci for monitor in the bios, and I don't know where the multi monitor support option is, but it still does the same thing.

Also I have been looking at other places, do you think the problem is that I have my monitor plugged into my motherboard and it needs to be into my gpu ? Or?

If anything happens, find a 2-pin point named "CLRTC" on your motherboard. If anything goes wrong, you can just short those two pins for 15-30 seconds and BIOS will be reset to default. Most motherboards have this.

Search google for that option in your bios.
It should be something like "Primary display: iGPU"
Switch it to PCI-e and restart saving changes.

It is plugged into the motherboard, because the monitor ports in the Gfx card, is too big for the cable I have on my motherboard, I have a blue cable, and the one on the gfx card is a black and longer one with 4 squares at the beginning

Don't you have an adapter/converter for the GPU? Try a different converter/cable or try confirming the cables and converters work fine.

So you want me to plug the monitor into the gpu instead?

for the primary display option, i did find "Init Display First" that has an option for pci (wihout -e) Is that the one?

Plugging a GPU into the slot will disable the onboard graphics on 99% of Intel motherboards automatically.

So yes to get a display from the GPU you have to have the monitor plugged into the GPU mate.

That's why you have no display!

What monitor & what GPU is it ??

If ita one of the newer RX or gtx 10** series cards they do not do VGA at all .

Messing with bios options is not going to do anything but create more problems , its the physical connection that you're missing between GPU & monitor.

Oh okay, so I would have to go buy a converter so it can plug into the gpu? I have a pretty old 1366x768 monitor, and my gpu is a Galaxy Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti (1gb)

Yes, that's the same. Make sure you find the CLRTC Jumper pins on your motherboard before doing anything to the BIOS as if anything goes wrong you can easily reset it.

A funny thing happened to me with my 2nd build ever:
I did some messing around with the BIOS and my system won't start. I had no idea what to do and I cried for 3 days till I found the CLRTC Jumper pins. Used them and I was happy as ever I didn't blow up my $1200 build right away xD

And you will obviously have to plug the display monitor into the GPU to make it work. Make sure with the reviews that the converter works. My personal experience was WAY better using DVI to VGA than HDMI to VGA on a 1366 x 768 monitor.
