pc turns on for less then a second then turns off

I recently turned off my pc. Worked well. Then coming back an hour or so later. It wont turn on. I pressed the power button and the lights go on and fans turns on, but for kess then a second. I tried. Seeing if it was the ram by taking each stick out a time and trying again. Same results.

First take all devices out including fans (not cpu fan), hard drive, cd drives (not ram or the cpu) and try and turn it on, if it does turn on put each device back in one at a time and see which device is the culprit.

Any luck? Can you list your specs?

Also check you main ATX 12 Volt power line and insure that it is plugged in properly, also check the cpu power suply.
As this can prevent booting into the bios.
If all fails disconnect the PSU and reconnect to insure everything is properly connected
