I have been usinig Zotac Firestorm for a while and decided I wasn't satisfied with it. When I tried overclocking my gpu with it it doesn't seem to overclock it much and also there's not many people using it online. So I decided to switch over to MSI Afterburner since it's one of the most used programs. After installing it and changing the settings I started up Witcher 3 and noticed that it only runs at about 40-50 fps when it usually runs at almost 100 fps at max settings. I also tried out the new FFXV Benchmark tool and on the highest resolution and settings I got the score of 4125 when the website says I should be getting 4456.

I tried uninstalling MSI Afterburner, reinstalling Firestorm and uninstalling and reinstalling my GPU driver and nothing seems to work. Here are my specs

CPU: i7-7700K
GPU: Zotac GTX 1080 TI Amp Edition
RAM: 16 GB
Resolution: 1440p

I hope those are all the specs you need.

Solution
Nevermind, it had nothing to do with MSI Afterburner. I ran Malwarebytes and it found some malware in my system. I reran a benchmark and it was working perfect.
