PC unresponsive freezing

Recently built a new computer and have been experiencing unresponsive freezing to the point of having to hard reboot. I've done chkdsk, all drivers are updated, and everything is hooked up properly. My HDD usage was at 100% and was thinking that was the problem so i just fixed it and am still experiencing freezing. My cpu fan does get really loud and seems like it's working too hard as it is about 3 years old along with the HDD and RAM, but am not sure what's wrong. I anyone could help me out I would be much appreciated.

ASRock A88M-g/3.1 MOBO
AMD A10 7850k
12 gb ddr3 RAM
2 TB HDD
650w PSU
EVGA GTX 1060 6gb SC GPU
Windows 10

Did you do a clean install of windows? Not install a hdd with an OS on it from something else?

The HDD had already had windows 8 on it when I installed. I have done a format and another installation of windows 10 on it since installing into my pc. Should I have completely wiped it and done a fresh installation?

So you booted from the win10 dvd deleted all partitions then reinstalled Windows 10?

If you didnt delete all of the partitions then yes I would start again

No probs. That will get rid of the drivers etc that were on it when Win8 was on it

And it should be more stable after Win10 has been reinstalled
