Hi, I am going to replace my 4790k with Ryzen 1700. I have to replace few components - Mobo, CPU, RAM (from ddr3 to ddr4) and cooler.
My want to leave my HDDs and SSD here and I will need to connect them to new mother board.
My question is - Is there any risk of losing data on drives if I will disconnect them from one mobo and connect on new (AM4 mobo) one? What's correct way of unplugging and plugging SATA devices?
Also I have Hyper 212 EVO cooler, what is the way to make it compatible with new AM4 socket if it is possible or do you recommend purchasing new cooler for Ryzen 1700.
Thanks
