I have a 2011 desktop
i7-2600k, Asus P8Z68 Vpro mobo, Asus ML238H monitor,8 GB Corsair DDR3 memory,Coolermaster 430Black cabinet,Radeon 6870HD 1GB GPU,Samsung 850SSD 120GB and a 1TB HDD,Corsair HX750W power supply, coolermaster HyperX 212 cooler.

I want to upgrade my desktop

Budget is around $850-900
I am a casual gamer. Would need to upgrade my pc . It's been 6 yrs, my monitor, gpu psu, mobo, processor, ram everything is 6 yrs old. I desperately need a really good cable management cabinet.
Never upgraded anything internally.

Please guide, what components will fit in that budget?

In what way is your pc not doing the job?
I might guess that a I7-2600K is still a very good gamer. Particularly with an overclock.

120gb is a bit small for a ssd these days.

The 6870 is likely to be in need of an upgrade. It is barely better than today's best integrated graphics. Perhaps something like a GTX1050ti or GTX1060

Nothing wrong with your HX750 psu.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

Buy a case you love. Looks count. As you know, a case can last a very long time so it pays to bust your budget if necessary to get what you like.

If you do not have a 27" 1440P monitor, that might be tops on my list.
And, keep your old monitor as a side monitor.

8gb is ok if you do...
Keep SSD and HDD, sell the rest. NZXT very good cable management. BTW, this setup is 1440p ready :)

8gb is ok if you do not multitask much.
A 2 x 8gb ram kit might be in order. Speed is not particularly important for intel processors.

It's definitely a very good cpu, i was pondering over bottleneck issues with the new gpu . So had a thought of changing the system entirely.

Here is a test you can do:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
