Hi all. Quick question. I want boost my performance without changing CPU and motherboard. What can I upgrade here?

Intel i7 4790K 4GHz, 8 MB, BOX (BX80646I74790K)
SilentiumPC Grandis XE1236 (SPC099)
ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 lga1150
Asus GeForce GTX 970 TURBO OC 4GB GDDR5 (256 bit) (TURBO-GTX970-OC-4GD5)
SSD Kingston SM2280 120GB SATA3 (SM2280S3/120G)
Ballistix Sport, DDR3, 16 GB,1600MHz, CL9 (BLS2CP8G3D1609DS1S00CEU)
Corsair CS 650W (CP-9020077-EU)
Zalman Z11 NEO
Asus MX279H
Some old 1TB Seagate HDD for data storage.

Goal is to play some MMO's with 60+FPS, 1080p, recording with Nvidia shadowplay, mixing with DaVinci Resolve. I can do this now but I want put some fresh air in my system (for speed up DaVinci now is kinda slow). I never try overclocking can I squeeze something out of my spec? Is it worth upgrade or just sell it all and buy new one?
Thanks in advance :)

I don't think you need to spend that much, your CPU is still good for 1080P gaming and I went with a beefier GPU since for ShadowPlay (or NVENC).

PCPartPicker Part List
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB Video Card ($499.99 @ Best Buy)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($115.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $615.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Then eventually upgrade to a better CPU/MB/RAM (DDR4) when needed.

You could look into overclocking your i7 for more performance, the Intel Temperature Guide by CompuTronix has everything you'll...
Ok so yes the GPU you'll want to replace, especially since you stated your going to use ShadowPlay but you may also want to replace the PSU as I'm pretty sure the Corsair CS series are low quality and may not support a higher end GPU very well.

Budget?
Budget isn't big problem, problem for me is knowing where upgrade is not worth anymore and better buy completely new PC. But let's just say 1000-1500$

I dont know about your country, but in mine, with $1500 + selling your old pc, I can get i7-9700f with 2080, b365 motherboard, and 2x8 cheap ram :)

If you want to overclock the 4790k, what is an absolutely brilliant idea, you need a better cpu cooler. I would opt for a noctua because they are very generous in sending out mounting kits if you change to a newer socket later. Depending on your pc case I would look at the dh15 or u12s

Really? For my unexperienced eyes my cooler and this dh15 looks the same 😛
