Hey :)
I've been thinking about upgrading my PC.
My specs:
  • Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
  • AIO: NZXT Kraken X63
  • GPU: RTX 2060 Founders Edition
  • RAM: HyperX 16GB KIT DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 RGB FURY
  • PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 550w Gold
  • STORAGE: Samsung evo 970 500gb, 1TB HDD, 2.5 500gb
  • CASE: NZXT H510 matte black
So I've been thinking about upgrading my CPU to a newer one (3600 or 5600x) but the thing is that I've just bought a new MOBO and I don't really know if it would be worth it to buy a new one. I am satisfied with the one I have and I don't know if it would be a substantial upgrade. The other thing that I wanted to upgrade was my GPU. I mainly use my PC for gaming (battlefield, cod and other new titles). Which one should I go for? The CPU or GPU upgrade (I don't really want to buy a GPU rn because of the prices and availability. I would wait till the prices drop.).

Thanks for the help :)

Solution
Just dont go 3060, it's not a worthy upgrade from what you have, I would wait out for things to get stable.. and get a 3070 or even a 6700XT.
You probably should go GPU, though getting one is difficult now. The 5600xt trades blows with the 2060, so you can kinda use it as a guide, looking at the scaling review, below. A CPU upgrade could potentially help, if playing CPU heavy titles like World of Warcraft.

I dont really play games like that. I want to play titles like upcoming Battlefield titles and maybe some COD. I usually get 60% to 70% when playing BF1

Yess. I would upgrade to a 3070 TI or just wait for the 4070(if its gonna be named like that). But first the prices have to drop 😀
