Build Advice Pc Upgrade

Hello!
I want to finally upgrade my pc to play some fresh games, but don't know if my current cpu will be able to handle rx 580...
My current specs are :
Intel Xeon E3 1220 v3
GTX 750 Ti
8GB DDR3 Ram
MSI B85M E45 Motherboard
So my question is will my pc work fine if i replace the 750 Ti with Rx 580 or do i need to change the cpu/mobo for it to run well?

An RX 580 would be IMO the perfect GPU upgrade for that CPU.

Probably some singleplayer titles like Cyberpunk, Valhalla etc, 750 ti is struggling when playing new games so i can't really run much new titles right now...

Those titles will really push a 4 core/4 thread CPU so I wouldn't expect a constant 60 FPS.

Should be fine, i will lower settings/resolution, will also be playing some esport titles so 580 should handle that

Resolution won't really help in reducing pressure on the CPU, turning down things like crowd size, volumetric clouds will help. These are very demanding games however.

To be perfectly honest, you would be probably be better off starting with a whole new build. Those games are way more demanding, than what your cpu is going to handle, and produce consistent performance. Yes you could upgrade your current platform, but I wouldn't expect much still. To upgrade the current platform, you need a CPU, like a 1231v3, or better. Upgrade ram to at least 16gb, a new GPU, and PSU, and after all of that, you might or might not get the performance you would like to have. Used market is always an option. Maybe find a deal on a used Ryzen system. While not stellar, even an R5 1600 is worlds better, for modern games, than what you can get on that platform.

The bottom line is a RX 580 will be a huge improvement over what you currently have even with your existing CPU. However your current CPU is going to struggle with titles like those suggested.
