Will 32GB of RAM make any big of a difference or should I stick to 16GB for now? I'm also unsure which motherboard to get from my list (feel free to suggest other boards as well). This being my very first PC Build I am very excited to get started and any help is very much appreciated. Also I was thinking of not opting on buying a optical drive because I don't use disks at all. Can I just upgrade my drivers and such strictly online or are there mandatory things from disks?

-Get a PSU that costs half as much (Not hard there are 80+ 750w for $80)
-Get 8GB of 1600 MHz ram
-Get a $180 non-overclockable i5 (1155 socket, IB)
-Get a cheaper mobo
-DROP THE TERRIBLE 650
-Funnel all of this saved money into geting a 7970!

Trust me on this one. You will have a far better PC if you follow my advice. If what I said doesn't give you enough change to get a 7970 then list the best you can afford with the extra money. We will go from there...

I like the changes you made a lot!

Some things I would get to fit in a 7970:

Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157297

PSU (I built a rig for my cousin using this and it's awesome!): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231611

SSD (I haven't gotten an SSD yet so not quite sure, but I assume the difference between them isn't noticeable): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227807

At this point it is mostly opinion, but I don't think you need to spend that much on a PSU, and I think the RAM choice I made is definitely better.
