So ive run into a bit of a problem with my new pc. It started last week when a windows pop up asked me to end a non responsive application. I done this then my computer froze, so i turned it off after about and hour and when i tried to get back on it says reboot and select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in Selectd boot device. Plz help.

Is the drive new? Is the OS install new or from an old setup?

At a glance, it could be a failing drive, or a defective port (SATA? M.2?), but the chances are fairly low on a new motherboard/HDD/SSD. Have you tried connecting to another port? Or using a different cable? (SATA and Power if pssible)

if its a new PC, do you have a win 10 installer?
If you don't, on another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB << its just a boot disc
look in bios and make sure drive is still seen. make it first in boot order if so (seems unlikely bios would have changed due to windows error)
if it is already, change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up repair - this will scan PC and maybe fix this - will ask for logon info

see if that helps

Everything is just about 2-3 months old all bought brand new. I have a SSD and a HDD i have already tried different sata ports and a different cable, but still no luck. My boot order is set the way it used to be which is SSD first since thats where the OS is installed. I have also tried re-installing the OS but it tells me i need to remove the disk and reboot to continue the update/installation( cant remember exactly what it said) and when i do this it keeps saying teh same thing over and over.
