Hey Everyone,

So I have this issue with a prebuilt Pc Its an Acer BE-2350 AMD Athlon X2. Monitor does work and has been tested with laptop and other desktops. The PC will not connect to any monitor. Things I've tried are, removing and reinserting Ram, resetting Cmos battery, removing graphics card and reinserting card and trying multiple working cards, I do not get a beeping noise from hardware when tested. All connectors are plug in their rightful places and I am just stumped at this point. Also before I forget this particular Acer is vga connect only don't know if that helps or not but any help at this point would be good. Ha. Well if you guys need more info just let me know and thanks in advance to all who read this novel lol. :)

Something could be up with graphics drivers, although it should still display at least something even without the drivers. Does the PC have an integrated graphics chip? If so, try plugging into that and see if it displays. The PC may be displaying through that instead of the graphics card. Another thing, have you considered that the cable you are using could be broken? Try using another VGA cable, you never know! The connection on the computer may have an issue also, because as you mentioned, it wont work on any monitor.

flappybob thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I am not to bright with computer hardware. If you mean plugging it in to the card on the back of the case at the bottom this one doesn't have a VGA plug where the card is just a phone jack style plug where the card is inserted.. The vga cable is good just bought an extra one as a test. But this is what happens...turn pc on with all cables connected monitor turns on flashes no signal then forever sleeps. I also left the pc on just to see if maybe it needed time to wake up but it just runs like normal.
