Question PC will only POST sometimes, and weird display things ?

Hi, I've just built a PC with the following parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TW3zZJ. I bought the GPU used on ebay, but I think there is some kind of problem with either the GPU or the motherboard. Its very difficult to get the PC to post. I have to power on/off multiple times before windows loads in (the VGA light on my asus motherboard is often on, indicating something wrong with the VGA output). But when I do get it to post, there a lot of weird stuff going on.

The screen will constantly turn on/off (especially when running something graphically intensive), and in a couple minutes will just turn off and the display does not detect any signal from the PC. I'm using windows 10. I've tried reinstalling drivers using Adrenaline. That didn't work, so I uninstalled all drivers using DDU and installed them again using Adrenaline, but the problem still persists. Do you guys have any information/suggestions ?

I bought the GPU used on ebay

With used hardware, you get them "as is" and there is 0 expectation of them to be working as brand new hardware.

That being said, i suggest that you try with 2nd, known to work GPU. Since all signs point towards faulty GPU.

Yeah, it seems like the GPU was faulty. It was probably some driver thing since it worked flawlessly for a couple hours. But I bought a new one and am going to return this faulty one to ebay. Thanks for the response.
