Question PC will only run when I ground the PSU power switch pin ?

Overnight my PC stopped turning on, I've tested the PSU and it's outputting all the correct voltages (I also tested another PSU), the power switch on the case works, and the atx cable isn't faulty. When I try to power the PC on nothing happens not a single fan spins. However, if I ground the power-on pin in the atx (motherboard side) my PC just runs until I unground it.

My question is if I just ground the PSU power-on switch like this when I want to use the PC will I cause any damage to my machine?

Any advice in the issue is also very welcome.

Hos do you ground it?

It seems like your Power on button is broken and you have to use the paperclip method to jump start the PSU?

I just ground it to the motherboard with a electrical clip.
Yeh paperclip method bought life to the PSU, all the parts of the PC work by themselves (except Motherboard). And even that works when I ground the switch. Seems to be a MOBO PSU communication issue or something.

We tested the power switch and it was working fine.
