my pc won’t recognize any wifi signal. i can confirm the ethernet is plugged in properly. When i go to device manager and try to update driver. it says they can’t be installed. There is not much I can do since I am limited to options. “Change Adapter Options” doesn’t show any devices connected and when running troubleshooter it says “Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter” I don’t have a wifi card or anything. This problem happened after i installed my new ram kit, my new cpu, and my new motherboard.
Former Mobo: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
Current Mobo: ASRock B460M-HDV
CPU:i3-10100
Ram:G.Skill DDR4 16gb kit 2400mhz
gpu: MSI r7 370 series
psu: ocz technology 600w
i’ve tried almost every popular solution and non of them seemed to work for me. I wonder if this could be a software issue.

Hi

If you have kept your Windows & hard disk but changed almost all your other hardware components you will need some new device drivers for the ethernet chipset
and probably the motherboard chipset, USB 3 chipset and audio chipset

Most people will recomend a complete re install of Windows after changing the motherboard,
If the Ethernet port is the only problem you have been lucky

Since you have looked in Device Manager did you have a device driver for the Network Adapter?

assuming you have another PC available
get your motherboard device drivers from
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B460M-HDV/#Download

Though this assumes you have Windows 10 (64 bit) as no other Windows versions are shown

transfer files to the problem...

I’ve reformatted all drives after replacing my parts. And i do not see a network adapter in device manager (the only thing that could be it is the Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter)But what I do see is that in other devices. the ethernet controller has a warning symbol. sadly, i cannot update drivers, it was unable to do so, I might be missing something, but i dont know. i will try to do something with the motherboard drivers, ill update you later
