[SOLVED] Pc won’t start up

My new pc won’t start up just built it

Brand new ram 16gb ballistix brand new motherboard asrock b450m hdv brand new ryzen 5

I plug my power button into where it says onto the manual but when I go to turn it on it doesn’t start up

Plug the beeper and listen to the beeps i'd say.

I’ve tried everything. The seller showed me the board on before shipping

Does your psu turn on?

I have my power supply to the l and it’s a new psu it worked before.

Nothing spin at all

I even tried taking it out the case too and it still won’t power on.

Sounda like a mobo or psu.

Just tested the power supply using the clip and it just turned on. So I’ll be returning the motherboard. Sucks I have to pay return shipping.

Yeah it's the MB or the power button doesn't work 😉

Alright. Because I connected my power button to where the mobo said and I even tried a flat head and nothing happened.

Yeah you can try one last time to fire it up with the MB outside of the box just in case you have any shortcuts inside and send it back.

Yeah I’ve tried that twice even changed the cmos battery. I’m kinda pissed but it’s not the end of the world. Was looking forward to seeing the performance of my new ryzen but atleast my ryzen and ram is brand new. I’ll just grab another board probably locally this time and test it myself
