So after about 4 days of trial and error, swapping parts from my computer to my parents, I have come to the conclusion that my motherboard is the problem. Long story short, I was on my computer just running iTunes and it powered off. I restarted and it lasted about 15 min, then did the same thing. After testing parts, all my other parts work in my parents computer (including CPU) but my computer won't work with all their parts (using my mobo).

When I power on, the fans spin, but that it. The diagnostic LED's stay lit on 4. 3 means that CPU has been detected, 2 is DRAM detected, 1 is VGA detected, all lights off is boot up. I thought it was my CPU at first, but like I said, it works in my parents computer, and theirs does not work on mine.

Since DFI-Street is dead, I came here. What can I do, other than buy a new mobo? I want to rebuild on black friday/cyber monday, but that is a month away and I need my computer for school stuff.

LOL, I knew that! duh...

BTW, it isn't really the biggest sales day. It may be the biggest shopping day but not even clear about that. Generally the biggest sales day is one of the two Saturday's before Xmas.
