Hello I recently installed an Intel 660p 1 tb NVMe driver and my PC doesn't seem to be booting from it . I cloned my HDD and my Mobo bios recognizes it but my boot times are the same as my 1 tb HDD and if I unplug the HDD to allow it to boot from just the NVMe it boots straight to bios. I've changed to boot order but still no dice.
Specs are :
Gigabyte A320M-S2H Mobo
8gb crucial ddr4 ram
Ryzen 3 1200 cpu
Intel 660p 1tb NVMe / Toshiba 1 tb HDD . Thanks in advance for any help

Solution
So it is running on the 660p?
No problem.

You can connect the old drive if you wish. Bbut you'll still have to install all your applications with the new OS on the 660p. You can't use them where they are on the old drive.
So after countless hours of trying to find solutions I decided to clean install Windows from a USB drive. After the install it seems to be working. I powered it off all the way disconnected USB and powered it back up and it works. My HDD is still not connected for fear of having to do this again and I have to download all my apps again but it is fast. In theory I should be able to hook the HDD up if I want to correct? Or is it just better to leave well enough alone and not do it ?

It is running perfectly on the 660p now. I will probably not reinstall the other drive. Thanks for the reply
