Hi hardware fanatics,
After upgrading my PC it won't boot with dual ram anymore. I've been working on this issue for quite a while now but still haven't been able to solve it. I'm really running out of options.
hardware:
Aorus x570 Elite (latest BIOS version)
5950X
6800XT
4x G.Skill 16GB
So far I've tested (CPU without cooler just to check the boot process - CMOS reset before).
aorus elite X570 +
aorus elite X570 +
Ryzen 5 5600G & Ryzen 5 3600
Corsair Dominator 32GB kit
Crucial 16GB 3200 kit
A1+B1 post ok
A2+B2 post ok
A1+B1+A2+B2 post ok
Their comment: De memory controller is on this CPU, this might causes these problems. Weird because the CPUs I've tested work 100% on another motherboard.
What I don't understand is that they say the post is ok but they don't tell me the PC actually boots into bios. Is that the same post / booting into bios?
Now I'm really to the end of my options. Anyone here got any suggestions?
Thanks
