Question PC won't boot with RAM in 3rd slot ?

Moved my stuff into a new case and PC wouldn't boot, with the DRAM light showing. I re-seated the 4 ram sticks thinking I may have bumped something loose and found that it won't boot with any of the sticks in the 3rd DIMM slot though they individually work fine elsewhere (currently running in slots 2-4) I didn't remove the cpu/cooler/ram when I moved the parts over either. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

Hardware:
RTX 2060
i7-3770k
ASUS p8z77-v
Corsair vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 4x4gb

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What case were you working with and what case did you migrate to? Might want to inspect the underside of the motherboard for any standoff making contact with the underside of the motherboard.

Take an eraser and wipe the gold contacts on the sticks of ram to remove any carbon build up, make sure there aren't any debris leftover from the eraser. Use a fine bristle brush to dust the slots on the motherboard off of any dirt or debris. See if that helps.
