Hi all,
I am having a similar issue to this thread: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/brand-new-i7-9700k-upgrade-wont-boot-my-pc.3491358/
I have a 9700K in a Z390 Aorus Master paired with 2x8gb DDR4 3600 Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB ram. My PC won't boot when XMP is enabled to utilize the full 3600 speed of my ram. It bluescreens every time. When I run XMP with 3600 speed and only one stick of ram, it boots fine. When XMP is turned off and speed is set to auto, it boots just fine with both sticks of ram.
I read somewhere else that I may need to overclock my CPU to support the higher speed ram.
I read some things about timing, however I have no knowledge about ram timing to fiddle with those settings. I can't seem to find any information about the timing in the packaging of the ram either.
My motherboard is running the latest version of the bios (F10)
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster 212 Evo (Temporary)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AUROUS Master
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600
Storage: WD Black 500GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 SC
Case: NZXT H440 Mid Tower
Power Supply: Gigabyte G750H 750W Semi-Modular 80+ Gold
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
