Hello I recently had an issue where the ram wouldn't boot to windows if I set it to the right mhz setting of 3600 from 2133. I reinstalled the bios 2 times and both times it would still have the same issue. I also tried removing the cmos battery for over 10 minutes and same issue. I then read somewhere that the newer asus motherboards had a learning thing with ram making it boot slower so I turned off settings relating to learning in the bios and now it won't boot to bios or windows and it doesn't display or power on the io ports.

Pc specs:
Gigabyte 3070
Asus z590-p wifi
Corsair vengence rgb pro ddr4 32gb 3600mhz
Intel core i7 11300(I believe I don't remember the exact model) at 3.6

Try removing the CMOS battery again and shorting the pins for said.

Download CPU-Z and take a look at the SPD tab for the reported JEDEC and XMP timings for the RAM and manually set the lowest. Move up until it fails boot and go back one.

My 11900K is only happy at 29xx with four sticks of RAM, and my 11600K works fine up to 3000 with two sticks but gets unhappy (at speeds) faster than that.

That seems to have worked for getting it back to bios and I'll try cpu-z when I get into windows. Thank you for your help
