So here's my issue. I have assembled my build and it won't post. A common problem. The strange thing is that I have a cpu error light showing for about ten seconds and then no errors showing whatsoever. Here are the parts:
CPU - Ryzen 5 1400
Mobo - MSI B350 PC Mate
RAM - G.Skill NT Series 1x8GB DDR4 2400
GPU - Zotac GTX 1050ti
PSU - Raidmax RX-530SS
Case - NZXT Phantom 410
And some extra's like a wireless network card, a hard drive, and optical drive. I'm using the stock AMD Wraith Stealth cooler
Here's what happens. When I had everything plugged in, I powered on the PSU, and pushed the power switch on the case. All the case fans start, the gpu fan starts and the cpu fan starts. The red EZ Debug led indicating a cpu error on the motherboard switches on immediately. Everything stays like this for 5-10 seconds, and then the error light turns off. The system continues to run, all the fans staying on, the drives making slight noises, but it still doesn't post.
I tried unplugging all unnecessary hardware including drives, graphics card, and the network card, and booting again. The same thing happened. I tried resetting cmos, the same thing happened. I've tried the single RAM stick in every slot. In either of the two primary slots, the same thing happens, in the two secondary slots I get a DRAM error light (Makes sense) along with the CPU light. I tried reinstalling the cpu and cooler with new thermal paste, same thing. I tried unplugging all the wires and re-plugging them to check for bad connections. Same exact thing.
This is my first system so I'm stumped. I've double checked and triple checked to make sure I did everything right and I can't seem to find any problems. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this?
