Question PC won't POST with my new RX 570 installed, but ok without GPU

Hi. So I recently bought a Gigabyte RX 570 and an EVGA 500 BV. But after installing them, my PC won't boot/POST. The lights and fans of the GPU and motherboard are on though. Then I removed the GPU from the PCIE slot and the PC boots just fine. I tried disabling the onboard graphics and setting the BIOS priority to external vcard, but no luck. Regardless of where I plug my DVI (gpu or onboard), my PC just won't boot/POST while the GPU is installed.

I'm wondering if my old motherboard is the culprit, or some compatibility issues that I don't know of. But then, it supported my old 1050ti a few months ago.

Specs:
CPU: i5 2500 3.3ghz
RAM: 8gb ddr3
GPU: RX 570 4gb
Motherboard: Pegatron IPMSB-GS

Download DDU driver uninstaller there is an option "For installing a new graphics card" it will clean all the graphics drivers and then shut down. After that install your RX570.

Dumb question.. did you connect the 8 pin cable from the psu to the card?

You have to consider the possibility that the RX570 is defective.
Can you try it in a different pc?

The second possibility is that your 500w psu is not delivering advertised power.
Can you test using a different psu of similar power or greater?
