Question Pc wont power on at all after new parts.

Im helping my friend upgrade his pc, we put in a new mobo and psu, and my old cpu and ram. When we hit the power button the lights and fans come to life for less than a second before stopping. It then wont do anything at all unless we unplug it and clear the power, then the light will flash again if we hit the power.

Components are:
Mobo: msi h110m pro-vd plus
Psu: evga 600 br
Cpu: intel i5 6500 skylake quadcore
Ram: ripjaws g.skill ddr4 2x4 gig sticks
Gpu: evga geforce gt 640

Is it some kind of compatibility thing or some kind of simple problem that we maybe missed?

Try clearing the CMOS.

So i discovered the issue was that the chassis fans were plugged into both psu and mobo. Now it boots to bios but not past it.
