I went to pull my computer out of sleep mode and the monitors weren't coming out of sleep. It seemed they weren't getting any info from the computer. I reset it multiple times, the keyboard and mouse were on. I put a CD in the drive and I could hear the sound of "what would you like to do with this" so I know the computer was on but the monitors weren't getting info to display.

I opened it up to make sure everything looked ok and now the computer won't start. I didn't remove or change anything in the computer just blew a little air to make sure dust wasn't an issue but now, nothing.

Ideas?

Solution
Make sure nothing is in the GPU / CPU fans like a cable or something
Make sure it's not grounded some how
Check all power connections (24/20 pin power, 4-8 pin motherboard power, power to PSU from wall)
Remove the GPU and try onboard graphics
unplug everything not needed, just use keyboard / mouse / power

If all of that fails, remove the motherboard and place it on cardboard and attempt to boot it with no GPU installed. If that does work then it's grounded by something, possibly a screw has fallen behind the board.
