pc wont restart

I installed a new motherboard and cpu. I done a clean install for windows 7 and I installed all the drivers for the motherboard but my pc wont restart, the monitor turns off but the pc stays running. It will shutdown with no problems.

Does it restart if you press the reset button? sounds like when the OS tries to call the reset feature the mobo doesn't reply, could be a glitch in your mobo.

It's a new motherboard so I quess it could be faulty. What reset button.

That was not the solution. I installed the latest bios and me and this solved the issue.
