When you restart Windows 7, does a message saying "your system failed to shutdown properly" or something similar appear? You may want to run chkdsk to see if there's anything wrong with your hard disk. It's possible your Windows 7 installation has been corrupted.

have had this problem since beta... none of the leaks fixed it and none of the RC's either... seems a lot of people have been having this problem... but no useful info on it yet... again, every other OS shuts down fine for me as well...

Really? that's interesting...

I have a Ph2 940 running in a fairly old board (MSi K9N2) 750a chipset me thinks... :heink: (been awhile) think it should have pretty good support for an older setup eh?

Albeit you do bring up a good point, maybe I'll poke around nvidia a see what new drivers they might have out (been a couple weeks since I've done any snooping)

a lot of people having this problem, i have 2 computers and neither have this problem (and i have friends totaling 10 computers not having this problem)
