PC won't start

Well basically when i try to turn on my PC it wont start (no beeping sound from speaker) but all the violeta fans and even the dvd player works (you can open it). However the USB ports doesnt works at all.
My motherboard is an Asrock 880gm-le with a Phenom x6 1075xt microprocessor, PSU: cooler master bronze gx 650w, 4gb ram (1stick), vídeo graph amd Radeon HD 6800 and 1 SSD Samsung Evo 840.
I tried cleanning the contacts of the ram ( i did it cause i noted that the ram was overheating) and worked for a while, but then the computer freezed, the mouse and keyboard power down and the imagen freezed, so i have to restantes but didnt work. I would like what can i try? I think maybe is a motherboard problem or PSU problem but i'm not sure.

Btw before this problem i have a problem with antes HD that stop working, i think is not related but it can be, i disconnected the disk and 1 day later had this problem.

I think its your RAM, try another RAM with same spec.

@thinkspire i followed your advised and tried another ram, but nothing changed

Edit: also try without the ram, and Aldo there is no beeping, the same with ir without the ram...

Update: I tried to unplug the 4 pin from power suply to the motherboard... Harder than i remember... Turn out that the plástic from the conector was melted.. so i bought a new motherboard, but now i'm afraid of connecting it with that conector, should i change the PSU too? How can i know if the PSU is working or not? (Without any other PC cause i dont hace another to try)

Well, that PSU is rated 7 by jonnyguru, but still shouldn't burn the EPS.. It's better to change it though.
Google PSU paperclip test, to test if the PSU is working, this will not tell you if it's working PROPERLY.

Well as i bought a new motherboard, i tried (avoiding the connector that had the problem) and its working fine now, the Rams top, so probably was the conector fault, i'll try the older motherboard another day to see if works, but well at least i have a working computer now, thanks to everyone that helped me, i'll let you know if anything else hapoens, but i hope not
