Question Pc won't turn on after enabling erp

I have a Windows 10 build with an Asus TUF x570-plus mobo. It has been working beautifully for two years.

I recently enabled erp mode and put it into s5 state to use less electricity when I shut down the computer.

Problem is now it won't turn back on. When I hit the power button, nothing happens. Turning it on and off via the psu switch also doesn't work. Holding down the power button doesn't work.

Interestingly, I can open and close my dvd drive. But nothing else works; fans are all off, no display on monitor, and no lights on the Ethernet port. Zero signs of life.

I opened up the computer and looked for the reset button and couldn't find it but as I moved the wires, the computer just powered back on.

A loose cable might have made sense but then why would the dvd drive work and nothing else? Could one of the pins be faulty?
