I just installed my new GPU ( Strix GTX 970 ) and my computer wont even start. The LEDs on my motherboard are ON. but as soon as I start the pc, it shutsdown. It starts for 0.5 seconds and goes off (the fans dont even have time to rotate).

Before this graphic card I had 2 x ATI Radeon HD 4870s and everything was working fine. So I figured that my 850W PSU is not the problem (or is it?)
I then took off the NEW gpu and the computer seems to turn on and boot. So I figured that the GPU is causing this... I really have no idea what the problem is cuz 850W should be enough... I really need someones knowledge on this. Thanks

My specs :
PSU : Corsair TX850W
CPU : Intel Corei7 860
Liquid cooling : Corsair H60
Mobo : Asus P7P55 Deluxe
RAM : 2x8gb
OLD gpu : crossfire 2x HD4870's
NEW gpu : Strix GTX 970

Sorry for the downvote. Didn't do that on purpose. It's a 2009 system. The hardware aren't supported anymore. No newer versions.
