PC won't turn on after installing new power supply and motherboard

I got a new power supply and a new motherboard for Christmas. I did have the LSP Ultra ATX Power Supply 600w and the Gigabyte 78LMT-S2 Ultra Durable Classic 4. But for Christmas I got the APEVIA 650W Beast Power Supply and Asus M5A78L-M Plus motherboard. After I installed the new components, my PC won't turn on. Everything is getting power because my LED lights on everything is turning on. But once I hit the boot up button on the front of my case, it won't turn on. Can anyone help? Please and thank you.

Try testing the board outside the case, for ruling out a short. A misplaced standoff might be the issue.

The Apevia was not an upgrade in terms of the two power supplies.
