Hello,

about 1 or 2 months ago i upgraded my desktop. Everything works fine, except when I go into sleep mode I cant turn it back again (mouse clicking, keyboard buttons pushing, start and reset button doesnt work). It only turns on after I switch the power supply off and on again. What could cause such behavior and how to repear it?

I know there are couple of threads that are discussing the same issue, but nowhere I found the solution of what is causing it, only how to boot again when this happen.

Components I upgraded:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE 990XA-UD3
CPU: AMD FX-8350
RAM: Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz
SSD: Intel 530 120GB SSD bulk

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Thank you very much.

You can either turn off sleep mode by going to:
Control Panel > Power Option > (See the plan you using like Balanced) Change plan settings > Change the Put computer to sleep to Never

Now go to Change Advanced Power Settings > Under Hard Disk option, change Turn off hdd after to Never.

Thank you for reply :) but I would like to have that sleep option enabled since I am using sleep mode quite often.... What do you think can cause such behavior and how to repair it?

if you are using GPU, check your sleep mode issue again with gpu plugged out from your pc and with display on integrated graphics.
